It is time for a real Reform in our way of doing health care. I am amazed at the breakthroughs we see in medical science. Just a few years past I didn’t know what acid reflux was. Now I have it and because of modern science I never feel the symptoms. The problem in our great nation is the way we do the financing in health care.

People have forgotten the fact health-care is a business. If the entities involved with carrying out your health-care and mine are unable to pay their salaries and utilities we will not enjoy great health-care very long. Just as it takes money to operate our household the doctors office also has overhead. When your mortgage is due and you can’t pay the payment you have to adjust your budget.

The idea is simple. All of us need to think outside the box. The way we are doing things is obviously not working. If we continue down the same path our wonderful health-care will one day be foreclosed on.

Now where does the solution lie? The private sector says the responsibility belongs in the medical field alone. The medical field looks to the insurance companies for payment and reform. Many demand our government do the job. The solution is to be borne by all the aboved mentioned, and one more in particular the I have not mentioned. One place we must turn to is the Church.

Again we will develop ideas for all parties mentioned. If all are to bear the burden of health-care reform we must first realize, accept and be motivated by the responsibility. Please continue with me in the days to come.
